Horses
The main barn within Inferni was constructed in the spring of 2011, in order to protect the horses from the blizzard. The barn can house a maximum of ten horses. The feed and tack rooms on the second floor may be used by any member of Inferni to house products for their horses. In October of 2011, following the influx of new animals, a second barn was "reclaimed" after much-needed repair near Bass River. This building can house an additional four horses and has a large pen which is used for the sheep and donkey.
Inferni's horses tend to be heavier breeds and dark in their coloration. The majority of the herd carries the red gene, regardless of whether or not they are chestnut themselves. While it may seem odd that coyotes, smaller then wolves, might be capable of riding massive horses, they are used mainly for manual labor and more docile than smaller animals. The Waste's rolling hills and valley provide ample land to support the larger breeds, which would be ill suited for forested areas.
If you bring a horse into Inferni, it is assumed that they are allowed to run freely and graze with the rest of the herd. Horses are instinctively drawn to do so, and Inferni’s borders provide ample space and protection for them to roam. The herd is led by Lystra; the dominate stallion is Viggo. Less dominate males are not chased from the group, but during breeding season they are often driven away by the lead stallion. Communal Horses
If no owner is listed, assume the animal is communal -- your character can use it for their own purposes, though they may receive consequences for trading the animal off without the leader's permission, injuring the animal while using it for labor and other tasks, or failing to take proper care of the animal.

This strawberry roan stallion was traded for in Freetown by Myrika Tears, and given over to the communal horse stocks. He is kept in the Great Village corral, generally, and is free for anyone to use. He is trained as a riding horse and doesn't know much else. |

Viggo was gifted to Ezekiel by Alaine of Cours de Miracles. He is rather hot-tempered for a draft breed, and tends to use his weight to bully the other horses. He's confrontational around canines and other predators. |

Oblak was obtained in Freetown. She is broken and easy to ride, and trained for labor. |

Maschine was traded to Cotl by Ember Phoenix of AniWaya. Maschine has his face tattooed to resemble a skull, for the pack to recognize who Maschine belongs to, and also to ward off any who would think about harming him or taming him for themselves. He is goofy and friendly, and freely roams around the Mansion grounds. |

Having been raised from birth into wolf/coyote clan in Ireland he's not afraid of Luperci but doesn't tolerate just any. Saol is laid back with other horses and generally ignores other stallions unless confronted. He is saddle broke but Zana never bothers with one with her size. |

She stands a massive 18 hands (6 feet) at the withers; her body type is muscular and big-boned. She is a flaxen liver chestnut horse, with a quicksand mane over a dorado body. She is dominant, and refuses riders incapable of putting her in her place. Lys is trained for battle, and tolerates being laden with goods to a certain point. |

Maduixa is a criollo horse from Argentina. He is in generally apathetic to most people, but isn't vicious. He tends to get startled easily when in an unknown environment. He's trained for heavy work and will tolerate any rider. |
